OUR STORY

Keeps On Truckin’

Kiemiracle Woodworks was unofficially started in the 1970s when my father Keith Kiehnau began building wooden toy trucks to sell.

Many of these trucks can still be found in family and friends’ homes. See the entertaining newspaper story here.

In 1991, Keith began to pursue his love of woodworking full-time – building decks for the mobile home industry in Wisconsin.

Kiemiracle Woodworks has always been a family business.

As a boy growing up, I could usually be found working both in the shop and on the job sites with my father. I learned a great deal about woodworking under my father’s wing.

In the early 2000s, the business began to shift from deck building to supplying sample boards and building free-standing showroom displays for a few local stone companies.

Tragedy struck our family in June of 2018 when Keith unexpectedly passed away.

Out of the darkness came new light.

My wife, Emily, and I decided to continue in my father’s footsteps.

In July of 2018, Kiemiracle Woodworks LLC, the second generation of the family business, was formed.

Emily and I make a great team. From the bookwork side of things to work in the shop. What one of us lacks the other makes up for. We enjoy working with our customers to meet their showroom needs.

June 2024 brought us the joy of welcoming a baby girl, marking the beginning of our family’s third generation to carry on this business.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.

We look forward to doing business with you.
